A cannabis book is a great way for any grower looking to improve and take their harvest to the next level. I have used several of the books listed below and I can definitely say that they help a lot. Both authors are true OG’s. The knowledge and information they provide is amazing. So what are you waiting for? Stop wasting your time and pick up one of their books. These books will set you up for success and provide you with essential information to get the basic fundamentals of growing down. I promise you will not be disappointed. These books are awesome!
Jorge Cervantes Cannabis Books
A great way to start is with one of Jorge Cervantes books. Jorge’s first book, Marijuana Horticultural: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower’s Bible was first published in 1983! A good friend on mine passed it along to me. At times, I read this book nonstop because there was nothing that compared to it in my opinion. I idolized Jorge because of this book! I even scored an autograph at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Southern California! Today, this book still ranks a top my list of favorites. It is still relevant too because it also has been fully updated with the most current information.
I also own a copy of Jorge’s Marijuana Encyclopedia. This book is massive and discusses every aspect of growing cannabis. It literally reminds me of one of my college textbooks. The detail in this book amazes me and I really recommend it because it talks about everything! I also really like the photos in this book. If you are considering a cannabis book, get one of Jorge’s books; they are the best!
Ed Rosenthal Cannabis Books
Another author I think you should consider is Ed Rosenthal. Ed has written a lot of books on cannabis. I personally enjoyed his Marijuana Grower’s Handbook. It ranks among my favorite. To clarify, the grow information in this cannabis book was outstanding and his writing style is easy to understand and digest. This book will definitely get you up to speed with the basics. Just so you know, Ed is one of the biggest players in the game. He also has written several other books about cannabis. He has complete books on specific topics, so if you are into detail, he might be the author for you. Here is a list of his books on amazon:
- Ask Ed: Marijuana Success: Tips and Advice for Gardening Year-Round
- Beyond Buds, Next Generation: Marijuana Concentrates and Cannabis Infusions
- Marijuana Pest and Disease Control: How to Protect Your Plants and Win Back Your Garden
- Closet Cultivator: Indoor Marijuana Cultivation Made Easy
- Marijuana Harvest: How to Maximize Quality and Yield in Your Cannabis Garden
- Ask Ed: Marijuana Gold: Trash to Stash
- Marijuana Garden Saver: A Field Guide to Identifying and Correcting Cannabis Problems
- The Big Book of Buds: More Marijuana Varieties from the World’s Great Seed Breeders
Marijuana Grow Resources
Jorge and Ed are only two authors among many. I can’t stress to you enough how much useful information these cannabis books contain. I encourage you to read to as many as you can. They are also great for identifying problems in your grow. I am not kidding when I say this, but owning one of their books is like having Jorge or Ed in your garden. When something goes wrong, you can normally identify the issue in your book.
