I want to take this time to discuss a product I recently came across: Great White Mycorrhizae. A friend of mine, one who I regard as a very experienced grower recommended I try it. This Great White Mycorrhizae feeding chart is based on my experience with this product.
What is Great White Mycorrhizae?
Great White Mycorrhizae is a bunch of beneficial bacterias and fungus. These beneficials create vast connections between the roots and the soil around them. Great White Mycorrhizae is not a fertilizer, instead it creates highways that allows your plant to access the nutrients around it. This improved infrastructure created by a symbiotic relationship is beneficial because it helps develop your plants roots so that it can consume more nutrients.
Great White Mycorrhizae Feeding Chart Instructions
- Just like the Great White Mycorrhizae feeding chart suggested, apply every 2 to 3 weeks at a ratio of 1 scoop per 2 gallons of water.
- When transplanting, sprinkle Great White Mycorrhizae on your roots and mix into the soil where your plant will be planted.
How to Use Great White Mycorrhizae
You really can not over apply Great White Mycorrhizae. I use it in all phases of my grows including transplanting, cloning and while I water. It is especially good in new gardens and when transplanting into pots because it helps establish these nutrient highways faster. Start applying Great White Mycorrhizae as soon as you plant and continue to use until harvest.
Final Thoughts
Great White Mycorrhizae is a great supplement for any organic garden. But it is not a fix all. Instead it is just one piece of the puzzle for a healthy and vigorous garden. Some growers claim that Great White increases yield by 20 to 30 percent and increases root mass by 30 to 40 percent. I cannot verify those numbers but I can say that I believe in this product. In my opinion, Great White is ideal for new gardens or potted plants. If you have a established garden that is teaming with microbes, then you probably don’t need Great White.
Great White can be purchased at any local hydro store or on Amazon. I also found several generic brands that are cheaper, but with slightly different formulas. Here are a few that I liked: Option 1 is convenient because it is perfect for one time repots. When compared in price with Great White, Option 2 is quite a bargain. Not only is it $9 cheaper, but you get 3 times more!

What size is a “scoop”?
There is a scooper included when you purchase Great White.
There is no scooper in your smaller containers. How much is a scoop?
1/2 a teaspoon per gallon!
After adding to the root ball of a clone, how long do I wait until I add again(1 scoop/2 gallons). Also do I keep using great white into the flowering stage?
You can use it during flower. I usually cut off at week 2 in flower.

Shanice, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Does Great White change the ph in the water
Can I sprinkle on top of soil after good watering? How much in tsps per 5 gal pot? Thank you!!!
Hi Terry!
You definitely can sprinkle it on your topsoil. I would apply a little more than 2 scoops for a 5 gallon pot. Not sure how many tsps that is. The scooper that is provided is good for 2 gallon. 2 scoops for 4 gallons and so on. Hope that helps a little!!
How much can i use per liter of water?
Also if i use some blackstrap mollases and great white may i have problems?
Do you need to ph the water prior or after for cloning solution?
How long does Great White lasts after hase been deluded in water
Darin, I don’t know to be honest. I would use great white as you go. Not sure on the effects of storing it in water. Maybe someone else can provide a better response??
